Music Reflection 27/10/09

Today i learnt to revise all my music subject that given by the teacher because i got a quizto check my knowledge on the music. I hink i did quite well because i answer all the questions that been given by the Music Teachers. In practical class i did some new violin song to practice .

Music Reflection 21/10/09

Today i learnt how to sing a song titled " What a Wonderful World" and some inversion during the theory class. I think i did both of them quite well and for next time i will maintain my performance this week, for the assesment next week. I hope i can get good score for the singing of What a Wonderful World next week.

Music Reflection 20/10/09

Today we learnt how to sing La bamba again for the last, and this is our last practice for it, before the assesment, i also did the assesment of singing La Bamba in front of the class by pairs. My pairs was Hasan, i think during the performance i did quite well, however i can not get a full mark because i forgot to have my own style during singing this song. For the next term if i got this kind of assesment, i will carefully follow the criteria as well as what the music teacher want.

Music Reflection 14/10/09

Today i learnt how to sing La Bamba again, it just continue from our last lesson, however now i larnt it full song, last time only half of it. We also sing this song in groups; piano groups, guitar groups, woodwind groups and violin groups. The lesson that i gain from this singin performance is that to feel not shy in front of the audience, even though i can overcome with that, but i face some challenges like following the rhytm of the song and memorize the lyrics as well as pronounce the word correctly. After that we learnt and sang a jazz song called " What a Wonderful World", i did not face any challenge during singing this song, however the second verse is harder that the first verse of this jazz song. Next class we are going to have assesment for this song and i need to practice a lot.

Music Reflection 13/10/09

Today i learnt how to sing a Mexican folk song called La Bamba. It is kind a hard song because at first i do no know how to pronounce a single word about Mexican language and this song also gonna be my assessment for this term, so i need to practice more to get full mark.

Today i leant how to open a midi file with finale, it is easy and no need to tutor me for doing this thing because i still remember how to opened it, however in order to refresh my mind i watch mr HEri's demonstration carefully.

Music Reflection 06/10/09

Today i leant how to compose a music, the teacher give us an example of 16 bars music composition and they also demonstrate us how to make it easy with a software called Finale. This software is not new for me because i used to work with this software in the grade 9 semester 1 but i think i forgot some of the application in the software. To prevent this i need to watch mr heri's Tutorial.
