music refleciton 11/05/10

Today Mr Herry showed us some of the first draft business jingle from some of the students that already submitted their jingle on Friday and today. I heard all of those jingles and i felt great about their jingle. After that, Mr herry taught us about F cleft and how to convert note from G cleft bar into F cleft bar. In the past i did not understand about this technique, however because of Mr Herry today's lecture, now i understand it. After that we got our instrument class because mr Herry said we need to practice and prepare to perform a scale during the Exam week especially the music exam's day. I think i did all the activity quite well and i will maintain this kind of performance for the rest of music class in term 4 and i will try to hand in all the task given by the music subject on time.

This is my second practice music video of this week and my tenth music video practice for this term 4 Music subject. I sang again the same song with the previous video which is "Sway" even though the assesment already done, but i still need to practice my vocal, in case i will repeat the assesment on the Exam week. I think i sang the song quite good in the video, i did not make a mistake on the pitch i think. In the future i will practice more , in case i need to repeat the performance on the exam week.

music refleciton 07/05/10

Today i did the last rehearsal for my assesment in singing "sway" with my group and i also submit my first draft for the business jingle. Today is also my assesment of singing and performing the jazz song by group. The group that not perform, they can write a feedback or comment about the group who is performing in the front of the class. I think i did the performance quite well even though i make a mistake when i am late sing the fourth verse of the song. However, when i hear some of the feedback from the other groups, i found out that there are 6 comment out of 17 comments who said that my performance can be better, if i practice more and control my pitch correctly. I will take this comment as a good advice, and if in the exam week i need to perform again in case to increase my score as well as the group score, i will practice harder and follow those advices.

Music video Practice no 9 (06/05/10)

This is my first music practice video this week and my ninth music video so far for the video's on blog assesment. In this video i still sang and performed the same song with a couple previous video which is "Sway" and this song is also the song that i will perform on 7 May 2010 for one of the music assesments this term 4 by group. I think i did it good on my last rehearsal video, but i still make a little mistake, however i will try to improve it and give the best as i can on 7 May 2010 which is tomorrow, I will do more practice tomorrow with my group in order to get a higher grades.

music reflection 03/05/10

Today I did some practice exercise on making a jingle some tips given by Mr Herry on how the jingle synchronize with the chord per bar as well as the instruments used. Mr Herry also checked some of our blogs music reflections as well as practice music video at home. I think i did all the activities quite well because i listened carefully to Mr Herry's instructions and explanations and also i did the blog on time as well as the practice music video at home. In the future i will practice on singing for the group performance because on May 7 or the next music session will be the assesment.

Music video Practice no 8 (01/05/10)

This is my eighth music video practice at home and my second videos for this week. I record this video on the First day of May. The song that i played/sang is the same, "Sway" but now i am getting better and better on singing this song. I think i did the singing part very well because i made no mistake and with the right pitch, however in the future i need to concern more on the tempo of the song as well as background music to help me in my practice session

music refleciton 30/04/10

Today we submitted our draft composition jingle exercise/practice in Finale software and Mr Herry also checked our music book for the written exercise jingle, he played some of the jingle from our friends who submit their composition today through their USB. I think i did all the activities well today, for the future/next music class i will practice more on making the jingle before make the real jingle for business assesment.
