Music video Practice no 14 (21/05/10)

This is my second video of the week as well as the fourteenth video for the music practice home video for music subject in term 4. In this video there is one difference which is i add more scale, than only play c major scale, i also include and play g major scale. I think i did the practice quite well because i only found a little mistake during i play those two scales. In the future, since music exam is coming, i will be more focus and practice harder so that i can get a good score,

Music video Practice no 13 (19/05/10)

This is my first music practice video for this week and my thirteenth music video for the entire music practice video for music subject in term 4. In this video i still play the same song that i played the C major scale because this scale i will play on the exam week for music subject. I think i did play the s major scale well and i will try to add more scale like G major scaler for the next video because Mr Herry told us to do not only c major scale because we need to have another scale at least 2 scales.

Music reflection 21/05/10

Today I did learn a new thing in music, actually it's not so new because i already got this kind of exercise in the grade 7.The exercise is about listening and hearing. Basically its just i hear what m\Mr Herry played, usually a chord or some notes and then i wrote it in a music sheet. The interval is a bit different than when i was grade 7 because now Mr Herry introduced us the 3/4 interval. I think i did the exercise not so good because i already forgot the technique, however i will try to do my best if in the future i will meet this kind of exercise again. After that we got 10 minutes to practice on our chosen scale and then we performed it in front of our friends. I think i did quite well on the performance because i already practice it everyday for the c scale except the g scale which need more improvement.

music refleciton 18/05/10

Today I did learn on application of converting a song titled " Alice in Wonderland " from c key major into g key major. In theory session i did practice my scale for the performance on the exam week and i think i did all the activities quiet good especially the converting activity, because i already know the base knowledge of converting note, it only the application of it in the other hand i also already got what scale will i performed and play. I will maintain this kind of performance for the rest music class.

Music video Practice no 12 (15/05/10)

This is my second music video practice at home for this week and my twelveth music videos for the whole term 4 music video practice at home. This video is a bit different from the several previous videos which i do not play any instrument, i just sing a song and practice it.However, in this video i play my own instrument which i chose at school. In this video, i did fingering exercise so that i can play the violin well, after that i exercise my self with a classic song titled "Ode to Joy" and the last i played c major scale so that i can practice a scale. I think i did well on playing my violin and i just did a little mistake. I will practice harder so that i will get a good mark for one of the music assesment this term 4.

music refleciton 14/05/10

Today Mr Herry told us to submit two important documents, the first one is our learning journal which has our music reflection so far in it and we need to number it and the second one is our music final business jingle product in Finale. After that we got our practical class, in the practical class i just play some scales and practice it so that in the exam week i will play the scale very good and tidy. I think i did all the activities today in the music class very well, since i did all the music reflections in the music class so far and i also did it completely. In the future i will practice harder to play and perform scale so that i can get a good mark for music and it will be my last gift before i left grade 10 as well as music subject :) :) :) .

Music video Practice no 11 (13/05/10)

This is my first practice music video of this week and would be my eleventh music video of entire music subject this term 4. This would also be my last video of singing my jazz group performance song titled "Sway" because in the next video i will play scales with my instruments which is violin. I think i sang the song quite good for the last time and i hope that even though i am not singing anymore for the public in the future, i will try to maintain this kind of voice as well as keeping my confidence. The next video i would play the scale again with the violin again.
