Music video Practice no 7(30/04/10)

This is my seventh music practice video at home and the first music video for this week. I still sing the same song with the previous video which is "Sway" but now i sang it better because i already know where is the ending of the song because our group just decided where it should be end. I think i sang quite well and better than the previous video because i got more confidence rather than before, so for the future and the assesment for this singing a song in group, i will practice a lot and now, i just 30% ready for the assesment, hopefully next week already 100%.

music refleciton 27/04/10

Today at the first session, Mr Herry checked us one by one for the first practice of music jingle using Finale software, however only one out of twenty three people whom did it and submit it. I also got a bridge because of this. After that we performed in front of the class by jazz song's group, My group still performing the same song but today, i did not sing well because i am having a cough and suddenly my confidence lost at the middle of the performance, however the others of the group member played it very well. At the second session we have been splitted into different instruments group to practice by vocal,guitars.piano and violins. I think i did all the activities today not well because i did not submit the homework and my performance was not so good. I will try to improve those two by trying to not get any bridge in music class and practice sing a lot.

Music video Practice no 6 (24/04/2010)

This is my sixth music practice video at home and my second video for this week. This video got a different instrument from the previous five videos because now, i am more focusing in practice singing for the group singing of singing a jazz song that our group chosen. My group chose a jazz song titled "Sway" that was famous sang by Michael Buble. I think i did quite well during this music video but i need to have more practice to control my pitch. I will continue to practice singing this song until the assesment day.

music refleciton 23/04/10

Today, we got 3 activities for this music class. First of all, Mr Herry checked our blog one by one and gave bridge B for behaviour and H for homework for those of my classmates who did not update their blog until 20 April. Second of all, i make 4 bars jingle composition for the first draft of my jingle that will be use in business as one requirement in making the advertisement of my own creation product in business assesment this term. The last activity is that we performed the group performance of singing jazz songs that combined 4 different instruments and plus 2 additionals instruments in front of the class as well as the teachers. I think i did all the activity quite well especially the performance because we got a lot of applause from our classmates. For the next music class i will practice deeper for my group performance.

Music video Practice no 5 (22/04/10)

This is my fifth violin practice video at home. In this video, first i started with fingering exercise this is very important because it can make my finger not suddenly shock when directly playing the violin. Second, i played a famous classical song that played by Beethoven titled "Ode to Joy". I play it smoother than the previous video and i believe that mr Herry will like my new progress. In the next video i'm thinking of playing a pop song. Finally i can upload my video.

music refleciton 20/04/10

Today i did watch some famous commercial in the world through youtube that was shown by mr Herry, for example Coca-Cola and ponds and i also watched a video that is implied for commercial and how to synchronize with the sound effect of a phrase/actions in an advertisement and movie. This was demonstrated because music and business study have a collaboration for one of business assesment which is creating a commercial as well as jingle for our design product. I think i did all the task today, by watching it carefully and pay attention more detail so that i get the message and how to make a good jingle that can synchronize with the commercial, last i also got some inspiration especially the Coca-Cola commercial. I will take this lesson as my reference for my business jingle,commercial and product.

Music video Practice no 4 (18/04/10)

This is the fourth video and the evaluation at the bottom
